Effect of pH (6.0 and 7.0) on monodehydroascorbate reductase activity of MT-I and MT-II. The reaction mixtures contained 50 mM phosphate buffer (pH 6.0 and 7.0), 0.33 mM NADH, 3 mM AsA, AsA oxidase (0.9 U), and 200 μL MT-I and MT-II solution (200 μg protein) in a final volume of 1 mL. MT-I and MT-II solution was replaced with distilled water for controls. The experiments were done twice and a representative one is shown.
