  1. *The embryo formation rate was calculated through the number of cultured embryos divided by the number of pollinated florets. The plantlet induction rate was calculated via the number of obtained plants divided by the number of pollinated florets. The rates difference between the two maize lines for wheat embryos formation and plantlets induction were not significant (P>0.05) by percent hypothesis test.
