Relationships between aboveground biomass of observed data and DBH of moso bamboo and the allometric model were used to predict the biomass. The allometric model is Y = 0.0054DBH3.44 (RMSE = 0.8685 m, R 2 = 0.97) for this study. In addition, the allometric model of a 5-year-old (Y = 0.0171 DBH 3.03) was cited from Yen and Lee (2011) and was used for comparison in this study
