Relative expressions of catechin synthetic pathway genes in tea leaves of different stages. The relative expressions of the CHS, ANS, ANR and LAR genes at the bud stage, the new shoot stage (1st, 2nd and 3rd leaves), and the mature leaves stage were shown. Expression of each gene was standardized to the expression of 18s rRNA and normalized to 1 at the bud stage. Results represent averages ± SD of three plants tested in triplicate
