Dendrogram of 55 tea germplasm in Taiwan using 39 STS and CAPS loci by UPGMA method based on modified Roger’s distance coefficient. Three major groups were divided in this dendrogram. GroupIincluded C. formosensis (F) and C. formosensis var. yungkangensis (FY), groupII included C. sinensis var. assamica (A) and C. sinensis var. assamica × var. sinensis hybrid (AS), and groupIII included C. sinensis var. sinensis (S) and C. sinensis var. sinensis × var. assamica hybrid (SA). Three subgroups of groupIIIcomprised different introduced germplasm and their derived varieties.
