Effects of NaHS pretreatment on the activity of trehalase in coleoptiles and roots of maize seedlings under normal culture conditions and heat stress. Seedlings of maize were irrigated with 100 ml of 0.6 mM NaHS for 6 h, and then transferred to heat stress, during the treatment and heat stress, trehalase activity in both coleoptiles and roots was determined. Error bars represent standard error and each data in figure represents the mean ± SE of three experiments.
