Chromosomes were counterstained with DAPI, and 45S rDNA (green) and 5S rDNA (red) sites were simultaneously detected in one reaction. In P. rungsuriyanum, 45S rDNA signals (arrows) and 5S rDNA signals were detected on the same chromosomes, while in P. canhii, 45S rDNA signals (arrows) and 5S rDNA signals were separated on different chromosomes.
